Do I need a fishing license?
Yes — every angler needs a valid California fishing license before boarding. Licenses can be purchased online from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, or ask the captain.
How many people can come?
Trips are private for up to 6 guests aboard a 25′ Parker offshore vessel. The 8-hour offshore tuna trip runs at a limited capacity — ask when you book.
What's included?
Rods, reels, tackle, and onboard equipment are included, along with GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, outriggers, ice box, and radar. Complimentary fish cleaning, filleting, and packaging is included on every trip.
What trips do you offer and how much are they?
Rockfish (5 hr) $1,000, Halibut (4 hr) $1,000, Dungeness Crab & Flatfish Combo (4 hr) $1,000, King Salmon (5 hr) $1,200, Big Sur Rockfish (6 hr) $1,400, and Offshore Tuna (8 hr) $2,000. All trips are private and priced per trip.
How does the deposit and payment work?
A 50% deposit reserves your date. The deposit is non-refundable, but if you cancel at least 72 hours before your trip your final payment is canceled and you won't be charged the balance.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 72 hours of the trip, or a no-show on the day of the trip, result in the final payment being charged. Rescheduling may be offered at the outfitter's discretion, based on availability.
Can I keep my catch?
Yes — guests keep their legal catch. The crew will clean, fillet, and package your fish so it's ready to take home. Some species are off-limits and will be safely released or descended.
Is pickup available?
Pickup may be available depending on your location and distance from the dock. Transfer to and from the departure site can be discussed and agreed upon at the time of reservation.
Are trips family friendly?
Absolutely. Children of all ages are welcome, and the crew loves helping first-timers and kids catch fish and learn about the ocean.
